Music Ministries

Judith LoveJudith Love, Director of Music

Music is at the heart of our congregation. There are many opportunities listed below for members and others to participate in or music worship. St. Mark's has a large music program that includes the senior choir, the youth choir, the children's choir, the handbell choir and our legendary pipe organ. All choirs break for the summer months but we do have volunteers to do vocal and/or instrumental solos for this season. Our Music Director is Judith Love. Please contact her through the church office. She will be happy to know that you are interested in assisting with this ministry.

This is a choir to introduce the younger children to church music. Rehearsals are held in the choir room on Wednesday from 6:30 P.M. to 7:15 P.M. All children in grades two to four are welcome.

Handbell Choir

The handbell choir consists of 15 ringers, 5 octaves of handbells, and 4 octaves of handchimes. The handbell choir rings periodically throughout the year during the 10:15 A.M. worship service and for special services (Christmas Eve, Easter, Wednesday evening Lenten service, etc.) They rehearse on Thursday evenings from 6:30 P.M. until 7:50 PM in the choir room. New handbell ringers are always welcome. Basic music skills, and the ability to read music are highly recommended, but not required skills for any potential members.
